I joined ST Advisors after spending several years in corporate strategy positions in the telecommunications industry. During my time at T-Mobile USA, I investigated a broad array of company and industry challenges while conducting market research, evaluating new business opportunities, exploring competitive and market dynamics, and assessing acquisition and partnership opportunities.
In 2010, recognizing that healthcare had become the most complex and fastest-growing sector of the economy — and an industry in dire need of technological innovation — I teamed with Ben Rooks, the founder of ST Advisors, where I lead the firm’s strategy and business development practices. In the last nine years, ST Advisors’ strategy practice has engaged with firms ranging in size from start-ups to Fortune 20 companies, supporting them in navigating their next phase of growth with research-driven advice and thoughtful analysis as they tackle diverse and multifaceted strategic issues. In that same time, public, private, and sponsor-backed organizations have leveraged our corporate development practice to supercharge their inorganic growth initiatives, consistently pointing to the combination of our integrity, collaborative approach, unique “get to yes” perspective, and industry expertise and relationships as a winning combination that achieves results.
Passionate about using technology to improve the U.S. healthcare system, I continue to look for opportunities to both expand and share my knowledge and interest with others. I have become a regular contributor to TechTarget’s SearchHealthIT and a judge and mentor for the HIMSS VentureConnect program. I also collaborate each year with the editorial board of Healthcare Informatics in developing its Top 100 list, co-authoring the magazine’s annual M&A article.
Having always relished exploring new places, in 2013, my husband and I moved from Seattle to London. We continue to enjoy the adventure, and when we’re not traveling or seeking out London’s great art and historical treasures, I spend my time with friends and practicing photography. I earned both my MBA and BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Washington.
